Basic Information
Your Name or Alias: Daniel Granstrand
Your Age: 17
Your Location: Sweden, Härnösand, around the center along the coast.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: Well... I don't know if there is much to know about me. Uhm.... I like to... Play WoW. Been RPing for quite a while now. Still go to school, studying nature science shizzle. Got three dogs, and... I'm Swedish. That's about all I can think of at the moment
Your Character
Character Name: Mezil'Zal
Character Class and Spec: Warror Protection
Character Professions: Mining & Skinning
Character Background: Mezil'zal comes from a long line of Frostmane trolls, his father being the old Witch Doctor Lak'zal. Mezil'zal himself seeks to become a berserker and aid his tribe in any way possible while at the same time to keep his father safe and well.
Your WoW History
Your previous guilds and why you left them:
Alright, on DB I've only truly been with The Kingdom of Arathor, joined them and stayed with them for 6 months, but the RP slowly developed in one direction, and my character in another, so I did not truly have any choice but to leave.
Your responsibilities in previous guilds:
In the Kingdom of Arathor, I was the Dortolo(Spymaster) for half a year, untill I left. The Arathorian Dortolo is more or less the head sneaky bastard. As in, I sorted the recruitment for the Scouts, led the scouts, gathered the information the Queen needed, and carried out their assassination contracts.
Frostmane Hold
Why have you chosen to apply: I, along with one of my friends who also used to be a KoAer saw the post on the new Defias RP forum and were instantly interested. So we made new trolls, poked one of your members and was directed here.
What can we offer you as a guild: What I hope for is simply good and fun roleplay, and nice people.
What can you offer us: Not that much, I can simply offer you another troll to join your group. And possibly some help with recruitment if you wish for that.
Did you read and accept the Rules and codes of conduct thread?
Yes, I read them over twice, should be enough I hope.
Thank you for reading my application, I hope it was worth your time!

Hi Mezilzal and thank you for applying! I do understand that it might be a bit troublesome to write a more detailed background for your character as you haven't got the chance to see how the Tribe "lives" but still your character background looks a bit too short. Is there any hope of seeing a longer, perhaps more detailed background for this character? Otherwise you seem like a nice person and all that jazz

Alright! Wrote a background story, enjoy!
It was a calm night in Dun Morogh, barely any sounds at all. Outside, the snowflakes flew around with the wind. But this serenity was quickly pierced by the single cry of a child. Inside one of the caves, a fire had been lighted once more. Next to it, a troll female could be seen laying on the ground completely still, the skin quickly turning paler as the female's death was approaching. In her arms, another shape could be spotted, a much, much smaller shape. This, was Mezil'zal, the firstborn child of Lak'zal.
The Witchdoctor himself, was nowhere to be found inside the cave, for he was simply sitting outside it, smoking his pipe while waiting for the child to be silent. Mezil glanced around the cave, his eyes quickly settling on the entrance, and the faint glow outside it.
After a few more cries, the witch doctor slowly came inside, he knelt down next to the female, checked her pulse and let out a sigh, moving swiftly as he bent her arms off the newborn before picking it up, walking away from the cave.
A few years later...
Mezil crouched in the snow, his eyes having settled on the target already. His hand sliding down to his hip, clutching the hilt of his throwing axe tightly as he awaited the moment to strike. A snapping of a twig made him spin around, quickly pulling out his axe and positioning himself with his feet diagonal to eachother yet slightly apart. He nervously tossed the axe between his hands as he stood face to face with a frost wolf. And there they remained for quite some time, simply waiting for one to crack in their mental combat.
After a while, the wolf lowered down lightly, and leapt towards Mezil who in turn spreaded his legs further, preparing for the impact, but to his great suprise, the wolf leapt over him, simply snatching up the rabbit Mezil had been hunting between its teeth and glanced at him mockingly before it ran away with it.
Mezil dropped to his knees, attaching the axe to his belt once more as he let out a sigh of relief. Glancing around for a few more seconds before he leapt back up onto his feet and started running home once more.
A couple of years later...
Mezil was now of age and the time for his rite of passage had come. After a brief ritual, Lak'zal told Mezil to pick up his armor and head out in the wilds, he was not allowed to return untill he had brought back a trophy of his first kill.
He slowly put his armor back on, making sure everything was in place before he once more attached his favoured throwing axe to his belt, walking up to the exit of the cave. He let out a sigh as he inhaled the cold winter air, feeling the breeze caress his face ever so gently.
He took a few steps outside, feeling the snow between his toes, a smile slowly spreading across his face. Mezil shook his head quickly, focusing on the task ahead. He took a leap down the hill before he once more dashed forward, out into the wilds.
Once he thought he was deep enough into the wilds he slowed down once more, scanning the ground for tracks at the same time as he listened for any nearby sounds, shamefully, he found nothing, seemingly what he thought would be over in a night, will take a lot longer. Mezil let out another sigh, spending several hours simply walking around in the wilds crouched in the snow. Untill eventually he gave up for the night, dug himself a hole in a snow pile and crawled into it, dozing off.
He awoke as the first beams of light struck his face, pulling himself out of his hole and glanced up at the sky, shaking his head lightly before he once more returned to the task at hand. Although this time, quickly spotting the trails of a medium-sized bear.
After a few moments of consideration he nodded to himself, crouching in the snow once more as he silently moved along the trail, constantly listening for any sounds of the bear as he drew closer to his new target.
As dusk was arriving once more, Mezil finally could spot his target in the distance, the bear simply walking around peacefully, with seemingly not a care in the world. He pulled out his axe and clutched it firmly in his hand as he moved forward towards the bear, taking cover behind a tree near it.
He glanced around the side at the bear before nodding to himself, throwing himself towards the bear with the axe firmly clutched in his right hand. A foolish attack, which to Mezil's suprise, failed. The bear turned towards him, and simply rammed itself into Mezil's chest. In turn, Mezil's axe went down and cut deeply into the bear's back, but losing the grip of it, flying back away from the bear.
Mezil let out a cough as he slowly pushed himself up, glancing around frantically for a new weapon as the now enraged bear went towards him. As the bear stood up on its two back legs, Mezil thought it was all over, before a howl was heard from his right, a frost wolf slamming itself into the bear, knocking them both down as the two engaged in a fierce battle.
Mezil blinked a few times in shock before he ran up to a nearby tree, snapping a branch off, he swung it around a few times before nodding to himself, though his attention returning to the bear and the wolf once more as he heard the wolf let out a howl of pain.
Mezil quickly sprung into action, slamming the branch into the bear's side, knocking it off the wolf. As the bear landed on its back, Mezil raised the branch once again and brought it down onto the bear's neck. Nailing it to the ground. Mezil simply stood there for a few seconds, gazing at the bear before smiling, leaning down as he with a few quick slashes cut the bear's jaw out, placing it away.
He raised his arms into the sky and let out a loud ''Tas'dingo!'' before his eyes lowered, settling on the wolf that had more or less saved his life, as he knelt down infront of it, their gazes locked once more, and Mezil immediatelly recognized it. It was the same wolf that had stolen his rabbit all those years ago.
He carefully slipped his arms under the wolf, lifting it into the air and once more ran back to the base. As he knelt down infront of his father once more, he placed the wolf onto the ground, and asked his father to heal it. After a few short pleas he agreed to do so.
While his father took the wolf inside, Mezil remained outside, going through the recent events in his head. Though his thoughts constantly going back to the wolf. After a short wait, he felt something wet poke his elbow. When he glanced to the elbow, he noticed the wolf standing there. A smile spread across his face once more as his gaze locked with the wolf.
And ever since that day, the wolf that he has now named Winterfang has never left his side for long.
And that was about all I could think up this late at night. Hope you enjoyed reading it. And tell me if you need more!

[Wall of text crits you. Sorry.] Hello Mezil and thank you for applying, but more importantly, thanks for the added background. I am positively delighted that my message came through as I spoke with Lak last night. So, thank you for the effort. A long application like this deserves a long answer, so keeping up the suspension still some! I enjoyed reading your story. I really liked the fact that your troll had some real trouble when killing the bear and he probably would have died if it was not for the friendly wolf, so there was a touch of "weakness" in your character that makes, in my opinion, a more interesting character to RP with. -I expect the tribe had quite some interesting story to hear from him when he returned. It's a shame you didn't roll a hunter, would have been cool to actually see the wolf tailing your character all the time. Not complaining though I have not been able to catch too many people online as of yet to ask for a vote (I like to give my members the false idea that they can have a say on what goes on around here ) on this application but to me, you seem like a nice person and can clearly also write. Hooray! So, a yes from me (and also from Ozena) so I guess that is a pass then. I'd like to ask for some patience with your guild invites though, as I am currently not at home and logging online is a bit of a challenge. Also, my officer has trouble with her account but I will try and pop online every now and then so you can join our guild chat and meet all the lovely people! In the meantime, please register on the forums and as an admin has accepted you, you may start studying our lore and whatnot. please read the following threads: in General Board (sticky posts) -New member? Please read this! -Enter the storyteller! ->Act accordingly and PM me your stats please.in Lore Board (sticky posts) -Your quick memo to the Loa -The Loa Also, read everything else in case you have time. It helps you to understand the Frostmane lore and religion and thus, adds to your RP. And finally, on Role-Playing Board (sticky post) -The Hold: On How Master Varjin fell, which explains on how Zorita became the tribe's leader. And that's enough schooling for any troll I guess //Primal

Temporarily also promoted Amri and Bodva so they can also toss an invite 'cause I ain't on now. Alts are my secrets and prefer to keep them that way, and as I ain't on anyway, doesn't really help to know Your account on the forums should be working now. Welcome, go read!
