Basic Information
Your Name or Alias: Robin Ginter
Your Age: 17 Currently.
Your Location: Estonia, Tallinn.
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
There's not much to be said about me. I am 17 years old. I go to the 9th grade currently, but that should end in about 3 days or so. And then it's off the High School or whatever they call it... In my free time I do a bit of photoshopping, some water skiing and some snowboarding when the weather allows it. Also, as you probably can guess, I do quite a bit of computer gaming.
Your Character
Character Name: Fal'Jin
Character Class and Spec:
I'm a mage. My main specialization is arcane and I'm off-specc frost currently.
Character Professions: I'm a tailor / enchanter like most other cloth wearers.
Character Background: I've never been very good at writing background stories but I'll give it a shot...
Fal'Jin was born one snowy day in a cave in Dun Morogh. It was an odd and stressful day for all, but the end greatly made up for the trouble at the start. In his early years his parents, Gra'than and Zob'leva, noticed that he had a gift for magic. He was sent to be the apprentice of one of the local witchdoctors, to help them with their duties and such. One day in his apprenticeship, while he was still small, the witchdoctor wanted him to go out and fine him some fine liferoot for a potion on his. Thinking it wasn't much of a hard task, he didn't think that Fal'Jin would need much gear. He gave him a short staff of sorts and set him on his way. Fal'jin, being slightly reckless like all young trolls, was glad to get out of the cramped caves and out to do something, even if it was just a simple herb-run. After walking a while toward the Eastern parts of Dun Morogh, where the herb growed, night arrived suddenly. Fal'Jin didn't think much of it and took refuge in a small rock formation. Because he didn't have anything to start a fire with, or anything to burn for that matter, he didn't light any flames. Soon he fell asleep, wrapped into a white bear's hide. Late at night he woke up to the sound of a branch being broken in the tree line nearby. Knowing that it couldn't have been any critter or the sorts, he unwrapped himself from the hides and started keeping an eye on the trees and shrubs. After a few minutes he managed to saw something lurking in trees. It was a snow leopard, thinking it had found an easy meal. Fal'Jin didn't have much time to think, since that great cat had noticed him watching it and decided that now was the time to strike. It started running rampantly toward the young troll. Fal'jin wanted to reach for his staff, but it was too far away, and he knew that he would never reach it. In a desperate move, he tried one of the spells that he had seen the witchdoctor use. The spell came out better than anyone could have expected, and it hit the leopard in the face, killing it. Fal'Jin marveled at what he had just done. He took the hide of the great beast as a trophy. When morning arrived he found a few plants growing nearby that he needed. He got back rather quickly, and without any trouble. After presenting the herbs to the witchdoctor, he shared with him the tale of what had happened in the woods. The witchdoctor peered at him and while and then started to chuckle. He put his hand on Fal'Jin's shoulder and told him that it was now time to start his training. Some years later Fal'Jin finished his studying with the witchdoctor, and became a practitioner of magic himself.
Your WoW History
Your previous guilds and why you left them: Uhm... I'm fairly new on this realm and I haven't been in any guilds here. I transfered here from the realm "The Sha'tar". You probably wont know the guilds but Ill write 'em anyway! The first one I remember was the Gryphonheart Empire I think. I was in there for about six months or so if I remember correctly but over time people lost interest and the guild then disbanded. Then I switched over to the Horde side. There I joined the "Nightfall" I think which was an RP-PvE guild. That then got reformed to the "Dusk" which I was a member of until that merged with another guild and formed the guild "Hunger". I also remained in that guild until everyone lost interest and disbanded. I did most of my raiding in that guild even and I still have my old Tier 7 to prove it! After that I didn't play WoW for a couple of months and when I got back I saw what a horrible state the server was in. Since I also wanted to do some PvP I transfered over to the Defias Brotherhood. And that's pretty much it I suppose.
Your responsibilities in previous guilds: Uhm, I was "Veteran" rank of sorts in all of them, since I didn't really want to be officer or the like.
Frostmane Hold
Why have you chosen to apply: Well, since I've transfered here I've been keeping an eye out from those troll guilds out there. I found three or so of them and this one seemed to most promising. The "Second Gurubashi Empire" seems a bit too aggressive to me and the "Darkspear Clan" doesn't seem all the serious either. Now the "Frostmane Hold" on the other hand seemed like a nice and peaceful bunch of trolls. Also, the frost troll bit is a plus side in my eyes, since once upon a time I wanted to make or join one of those but I never really found them time for it.
What can we offer you as a guild:
Well, I suppose a quaint "lol-boy" free environment and such. With many trolls which has always been a soft spot for me. And of course the roleplay side is the most important one.
What can you offer us:
There's not much I can say at this part. I guess it would be my role-play and my loyalty.
Did you read and accept the Rules and codes of conduct thread?
Yes, I did read them and I accept them.
