Feel free to post any questions you might have about us in this thread and we'll try to answer them the best way we can. This way, all the little things can be centralized! Isn't it genius!?

Hello!
I've recently become bored with my nelf and I've decided to see if the grass is greener on the other side. The concept of rerolling a troll death knight character has crossed my mind, and in that vein I've found the Frostmane Hold to be my top choice for a new guild. I've never really played in the Horde all that much, so I'm doing a bit of scouting since this will be quite the change for me.
So, on with the questions. How active are people in the guild, and when do you usually play? How much do you roleplay outside of the game and in it? Are you a part of any raiding alliances?
Other questions I have regarding my character. Are death knights frowned upon? Would a Frostmane orphan, raised by the tribe members, who left the tribe to join the fight alongside the Horde and eventually returns as a death knight to the tribe be a viable character?
That's about all I can think of right now. Thanks for your time!

Hello Awiel! This is a response from the officer team, seeing we are huddled under the same roof today So, on with our answers: As you might know, we are a relatively small guild. This is due to us being rather a new guild and we are somewhat strict in our recruiting as we want to protect our happy little community from the ominous set we like to call "the Lol-boys". Also, we have a loose metaplot written in the guild that sometimes affects the events that take place -for this we rather have a few devoted players than a thousand whom we cannot even remember well. Our members are more or less around during the evenings, seeing we have work/ studies that consume our days. As to roleplaying outside of the game -some members have experience in pen & paper games or larps, others are more experienced in the field of online RP. All of our members have previously been (or still are) in other roleplaying guilds. The guild leader has been a part of pen & paper campaigns for five years or so. We try to remain active on online RP, but we admit we don't do it on a daily basis. However we believe that this can be corrected when we will get more and more devoted members. As to raiding, we are currently not in any raiding alliances but some of us do raid Naxx and Ulduar. Within the guild we have so far only done Zul'Aman for RP gear. Should you want to do heroics or so, I believe they can be arranged within the guild but we don't have enough level 80 trolls to raid 10-mans yet. As to your final question about the DKs, we pondered on the class when the guild was formed. We didn't want to leave them out completely so we figured the best way to do it would be to write our own guild lore so that also a DK may join us (some want them for looks) but s/he'd have to be something else than, say, the ex-servant of Arthas. We have our own guild lore, mostly Loa that don't appear in the official Warcraft lore, but we felt they suit the feel of a northern, isolated troll tribe better than for example the Gods of Amani. You are free to roll a DK, and for example, make him/her a follower of Syama Shvala, whom we have written a little bit on the realm / RP forums. Basically she is the Loa of death, war, so forth. She takes the form of a black wolf-half, but do ask more if you are interested in taking your character to this direction. As for fighting with the Horde, that is ok if you want to do it. However the frostmane hold has not pledged any alliance with them and indeed does frown upon the other races. This is somewhat logical as we are very isolated, and most tribe members never even venture outside Dun Morogh. So I suppose the answer is a "no, it is not a viable character", seeing we do not have undead in our midst. Such beings are feared and despised, and they are largely viewed as abominations. If one would follow Syama Shvala, they might get some characteristic that appear to as others as peculiar. And to have served that Arthas dude is a definate no. hmm! We hoped this helped! Should you have other questions, don't hesitate to ask. Also, if you want, feel free to contact us ingame. The current officers are Smenkhara, Ozena and Zorita -we might be able to help you the best. But I think most of the guildies are able to answer your basic questions. Hoping to hear from you soon, The Frostmane Hold

I'm re-rolling as a troll DK on Defias Brotherhood, and was wondering if i could make my character undead, but no WOTLK undead, such as Sandfury troll type thing?

No, no undead, it messes up the tribe lore. However, do feel free to specify "not undead as in Wotlk type of lore".
We have quite many other opportunities in the guild -please see the previous post, or if it confuses you or does not answer your questions, do ask again or contact us ingame if that is easier for you.
