Basic Information
Your Name or Alias: Adam
Your Age: 19
Your Location: Ireland
Tell us a little bit about yourself:
Well I’ve been enjoying RP in a variety of games over the last few years e.g. WOW, NWN, WAR, LOTRO etc. Apart from that I do some martial art related things to keep myself active and on a more academic side I have just finished school and am currently awaiting my A-Level Results.
Your Character
Character Name: Narkeh the Seeing
Character Class and Spec: Shaman, no spec as of yet but I plan to go elementalist.
Character Professions: None yet but most likely Herb and Alchemy
Character Background: Narkeh was born many years ago and knows the exact date of his birth thanks to his passion for record keeping. At the age of 76 he is one of the oldest ice trolls around and he personally knows no one older than himself, a fact he takes pride in. His father, Nekral, was a Seer of the Frostmane tribe, a man who was only average at best in his spiritual talents.
At a young age Narkeh was trained by Nekral in the ways of the seer. His first lessons involved his fathers patron Loa, Akt whose teachings Narkeh soon took to heart. Learning quickly by the age of 16 he had already outstripped his father in the casting of spells and speaking with the spirits although he was behind in martial training, despite this he was soon freed from his learning and became a full member of the tribe.
At the age of 19, during a skirmish with the nearby dwarves Narkeh witnessed his father’s death at the hands of a Dwarf hunter, whom the young seer killed straight after.
For the next two decades Narkeh became relatively well known amongst his fellow ice trolls for being a fierce warrior and was well known for his combination for his ice imbued axe and lightning hurling abilities.
However once hitting 40 he realised his physical rime was coming to an end and that he would need to change his lifestyle as to continue serving the tribe, as such he began to use his axe less and his elemental powers more often, he also began worshipping Akt to an even greater extent.
Around the age of 60 he lost his eyesight and for months fell into a depression where he felt useless, however one day he began walking around once more and seemed to see as well as he ever did, whilst reluctant to speak on the topic he admits to being able to see thanks to the spiritual realm and many see this “spiritual sight” as a divine gift from Akt.
In modern days Narkeh mainly pursues more “scholarly” activities and spends long periods of time conversing with the spirits and even immersing himself in their world.
At times his advice will be sought but thus far he has refused to take a witness, although he occasionally teaches trolls who wish it how to read and write, and sometimes will speak about Akt to those who request it although he is just as likely to wave his staff at them and tell them to “Go and read something!”
In terms of combat abilities he hurls flame, ice or lightning at his foes and in more severe scenarios he will have the spirits strengthen him physically so he may fight once more, although such strenuous actions have negative side-effects on both physical and spiritual levels.
Your WoW History
Your previous guilds and why you left them: I’ve been in SGE and I still have a character there although due to restricted play times I don’t get to play my character Salak much anymore.
Your responsibilities in previous guilds: I was just a normal member although I had good rp plots sometimes, involving being the emperors apprentice.
Frostmane Hold
Why have you chosen to apply:
Partially because I’ve been dying to try some tribal troll rp opposed to a more militaristic style and partially because I personally know a few of the guild members for being good rpers.
What can we offer you as a guild:
Roleplay that revolves around a more tribal nature and a friendly/enjoyable environment to do such in.
What can you offer us:
A member that will try his very best to give you some enjoyable rp.
Did you read and accept the Rules and codes of conduct thread?
I did and I do.
